Art, Unfortunately these sort of situations are in the eye of the beholder. If you are a corporation that focuses maximum profits for your CEO and stock holders, it’s probably a brilliant business move. If you are someone who makes his living with Sibelius it’s an extremely negative situation.

I’ve been a user since 1.4 myself and of course totally agree with them. But since I could not leave a comment because 1) what else could I add? and more importantly 2) it required filling out a membership form to Avid’s club which I frankly couldn’t handle!
So really all I wanted to say to the powers that be at Avid is, “Boy, you are really some stupid shmucks.
